Sometimes i think about my ex’s, not because i miss them or want to be back with them, just because i want to know if they are ok. at one point, they were people that really mattered to me. sending that email or text wud make me feel so guilty tho. like im betraying the one i love now, for the ones i loved in the past….

Cold

i’m beginning to learn how to love the cold. the summer used to be my favorite, running around the beach half naked soaking up the sun; days that felt like weeks; no school and no commitments to anything. but summer is a single season, and he’s teaching me to love the memories and the self-created warmth of the winter. being held so tight because i need to be warm; walking with my hand in yours instead of my in my pocket; kisses that warm my lips and my nose. now that i’m a continent away and freezing i miss you even more. but the cold reminds me how much i miss you and need you. cold is lonely without you; but with you its my favorite
